The Spiral Jetty is a work of art from 1970 and is
usually too submerged in the Great Salt Lake to see very well from the
ground. The lake is at a 30 year low, so Logan and I decided to ditch
Mom (actually she couldn't get away) and Landon to make the ~125 mile
roundtrip to check it out. It was pretty cool, click on the pictures above
to see larger images. Thanks to Tim, Mike, Sara, and Sandy for going
out with us, hope that brand new VW beetle didn't get beat up too bad,
and a big thanks to Mike for taking all of the artistic photos of the
area!
